Welcome to coinzip's new Conder Token Club section...

I'll start this over with a new club medal design, not that one will ever actually be struck.

I like Civil War Tokens and Civil War Store Cards and more recently, 18th Century British Conder Tokens.

I have also collected U.S. Type and a few commemorative issues, I have a very few ancients now, and an accumulation of various world coins.

I started this thread over, and with this new image, the comments no longer made sense, so I deleted them. : )

I was experimenting with background textures last night, and used the art for the Conder Token Club medal as a testing ground.

I thought I'd share the results, though I may take them down soon.

Are there any that you like better that the original above?

Thanks. : )

With input from a few members, I have revised the artwork. Perhaps this will be the final version, but I am still entertaining suggestions. I also got my new avatar as a result. : )

Wow, really neat Larry. Am I stating the obvious if I ask, is that St. George?

I don't know how I missed your post but will respond now, four days later.

Yes, Coramken, it is St. George, taken from a photograph of the Finest Known example, previously owned by Dr, Richard Doty, collector and noted author. I didn't get that piece, but did recently purchase one almost as good, perhaps the second finest. : )
